1991 Ferrari 348 TS Spider for sale! Motorcar Classics is proud to present this stunning 1991 Ferrari 348TS Spider featured in Rosso Corsa with Saddle leather interior. The Spider's targa's removable roof section provides an added level of enjoyment on sunny days. The car has covered only 27,580 miles.
The Ferrari 348 replaced the 328 with numerous technical improvements and styling that evokes its Testarossa stablemate. Regular updates to the model and looks that have aged rather well make the 348 rather more desirable as a classic buy. The 3.4-litre V8 was a development of the 328s, now producing 296bhp it gave the 348 a 0-60mph time of well under six-seconds with the top speed was now over 170mph. The engine is mated to Ferrari's iconic gated-shifter 5-speed manual transmission. The delicacy of the unassisted steering and high-revving engine add an additional level of engagement to this often overlooked classic. The T in the 348's name refers to the transversely mounted gearbox, a layout it shared with the contemporary Mondial T.
Our car has been meticulously maintained with diligent attention paid to the scheduled major services and timing belt changes. The most recent engine-out major service was done in 2021 at 27,481 miles. A prior major service was done in 2018 at 26,554 miles. The clutch was replaced in 2019 at 26,877 miles. Receipts are included. In 2022 the car received complete respray due to the original paint going dull. A photo file shows the car in process at the paint shop. The interior is in excellent original condition and the Asanti chrome wheels sparkle.
Our 348TS is a delight to drive and the reassuringly thick service history file shows that the car has been maintained to Ferrari factory standards without regard to cost. Most of the recorded work was done by an authorized dealer.
