Desirable 1968 Ford Mustang X-Code GT/California Special Hardtop

The next amazing classic up for grabs in our Fairfield showroom is this gorgeous 1968 Ford Mustang California Special 2 Door Hardtop with Meadowlark Yellow exterior paint and a beautiful black vinyl interior. You’ll find a factory-correct 390 cubic inch V-8 engine under the hood that’s paired to a C-6 automatic transmission and this highly desirable pony car appears to be largely original throughout.  It is also nicely equipped for modern highway driving and must be seen in person to fully appreciate since the photos don’t do it enough justice.

Highly Original Example w/ Factory-Correct Drivetrain 

This 1968 Ford Mustang California Special Hardtop originally sold in Canada and it has been enjoyed by three different lifetime owners, the most recent of which took possession back in 2016. This classic is in beautiful condition throughout with beautiful body lines, above average exterior paint, and only minimal blemish to be found. The interior is also in above average condition with slight patina to the vinyl seating and a very clean overall appearance. This one will appeal to a wide variety of collectors due to its overall condition and originality.

Additionally, this 1968 Ford Mustang California Special 2 Door Hardtop appears nicely sorted under the hood and it delivers very nice performance from the factory 390 V-8 motor.  Acceleration is sharp and the handling is exactly as expected for this classic car.
