Cauley Ferrari of Detroit is thrilled to offer this rare and highly sought-after one-owner 360 Challenge Stradale Coupe. It is finished in Nero DS 1250 with a factory tri-color stripe and an interior featuring a one-of-a-kind combination of Nero Leather/Alcantara seating that were custom ordered by the original owner. Low mileage one-owner 360 Challenge Stradale's do not come up for sale often and we can confidently say that the condition of this 360 Challenge Stradale is better than when it was new. Our factory-trained technicians have done a thorough inspection and confirmed the car's outstanding condition. In the summer of 2022, they completed a 3-year belt and fluid service so maintenance is now up to date. It has been serviced almost exclusively by our service department since new with one exception. In the fall of 2007, the original owner was driving the 360 Challenge Stradale when a deer jumped into the road forcing him to swerve to miss it. He missed the deer but the car slid off the road and some damage was done to the front driver's side section of the car. Thankfully no airbags went off and all of the damage was repairable. The current owner spared no expense in making sure the car was repaired correctly. He shipped it to the world-renowned Karosserie paint facility in Wayne, Pennsylvania to be repaired. The Karosserie was one of just a few authorized Ferrari body repair facilities in the country in 2007 (we were not an authorized Ferrari body shop at the time but are now) and they repaired this car to a better-than-new condition. The Challenge Stradale was a limited-production track-focused variant of the 360 Modena inspired by the 360 Modena Challenge racing car, it was focused primarily on improving its track lap times by improving its handling, braking, and weight reduction characteristics, essential in pure racing cars. Ferrari engineers designed the car from the outset with a goal of 20% track day use in mind and 80% road use. With only a small 20 hp improvement in engine power from the Modena, the Challenge Stradale accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 4 seconds according to Ferrari which is .4 seconds quicker than the standard 360 Modena. The 360 Challenge Stradale is over 100 pounds lighter than the standard 360 Modena, uses Carbon Ceramic brakes from the Enzo Ferrari, and came standard with a Fiorano Handling Pack.
