The Bentley Arnage RL LWB is the pinnacle of elegance and luxury. Whether you are the driver or being driven, this is the most luxurious sedan of its era. Throughout the years, Bentley makes some very special vehicles that become much sought after by enthusiasts and collectors alike. The 2001 Bentley Arnage RL LWB is easily the rarest ever built, period. It is one of only 20 left hand drive examples produced and one of only 11 brought into North America. What makes this Arnage so special is the 10-inch extension over the standard Arnage.
The extended body is all within the rear passenger door length. The LWB models came with a separate air conditioning system in the rear that is controlled by the rear passengers as well as a cool box for two beverages. The Linen hides contrasted by the darker carpets are beautiful. The steering wheel is a thicker version in contrasting color and feels amazing. The wood is in excellent condition. There are several additional wood veneer panels to the door, picnic tables and vanities in the rear passenger compartment. The seats are in very good condition and are very comfortable with both front and rear having all of the expected electrical adjustments as well as rear seat heaters.
Mechanically, the Arnage passed our multipoint inspection easily. Under the hood lies a 400 hp twin turbo that performs wonderfully. For a 21 year old car, it has only accumulated 50,247 miles.
The vehicle was sold new by Desert European in CA and stayed in CA for the first year. The second owner registered the car in AZ where it stayed up until 2010. We acquired the car from the third owner who properly stored it for 10 years and then stored it with us for one. This owner never registered the car as it was purchased purely as an investment.
