Debuting at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2015, the Bentayga is Bentleys first-ever SUV model. The Bentley brand is already known for its stylish interior decor that delivers a luxury experience without losing points on comfort, and the Bentayga doubles down on this design philosophy. It simultaneously boasts the highest top speed of any SUV, giving the Bentayga top marks in every category. Bentley named the model by conjoining their brand with the worlds largest transcontinental snow forest: Taiga. Every Bentayga makes a cross country journey before finishing production as the body is constructed at the Volkswagen Zwickau Mosel Plant in Germany, the paint is added by Paintbox Editions in Banbury, England, and the rest of the car is assembled in Crewe, England. This chassis number 027060 is fitted with a 4.0L twin-turbocharged V8, an 8-speed automatic transmission, and all-wheel-drive. The wheels have been upgraded from 21 in. to 22 in. and have been painted black and polished. The car was also equipped with the front seat comfort specification, which adds adjustable cushion and backrest bolsters, winged comfort headrests, and, most importantly, a massage function. Bentleys city specification is included as well, adding a top-view camera, an imminent collision automatic braking system, reversing traffic warnings, park assist, and traffic sign recognition that displays the current speed limit. Lastly, the Centenary specification adds a footnote of Bentleys 100 year anniversary with golden spun thread, a special golden metallic finish on the B badges on the steering wheel, gear shifter, bonnet, boot, and wheel centers, and treadplates commemorating 100 years at the vehicles door openings. Many luxury vehicles struggle to maintain the balance between comfort, class, and performance, but the 027060 fulfills on all fronts.
