2001 Porsche Carrera 911. This car shows 85600 miles on the speedometer, but the engine is a factory crated X-51 upgrade with just under 20K miles. Please look on the internet for details of the X-51 motor, but from an owner’s perspective it adds horsepower and reliability. The engine was installed in 2014 at a cost of over $17,000. All paperwork is available for the engine as are mechanical records for the vehicle. The car also has a rebuilt transmission with a short throw shifter from 2011, so the whole drivetrain is nearly new. The exhaust is an upgrade. The body is dark blue with slight metal flake and it comes with a removable hardtop plus a soft top. The vinyl rear window on the soft top is new. Black leather interior in excellent condition. The paint job was re-sprayed at a high quality body shop two years ago and as a result the car looks practically new. Everything works and the car runs beautifully. The X-51 engine will not pass the on board diagnostic (OBD) emissions test because the check engine light is on. This is a problem with the wiring harness being incompatible with the X-51 engine. It will pass a treadmill test. Other options also are available. The car comes with a spare set of high quality summer tires, a Porsche car cover and some miscellaneous accessories.
