The exterior of the Alpine Edition cars was mostly standard, using limited production roadster front and rear bumpers and a color matched rear wing with an optional carbon fiber adjustable wing flap insert became standard for the Alpine Edition Diablo. Carbon Fiber fins on the outside air intakes in front of the rear wheels, upgraded clear carbon fiber tail light bezels, upgraded Xenon Headlights with carbon fiber brows and door trim also finished in Carbon Fiber. The center plentum on the engine cover was made from Carbon Fiber as well for the Alpine Edition cars. The interior is similar to the 2001 6.0 cars and is complete with the new dash upgrade only on the 99-01 cars.
