HYDRAULIC 4-WHEEL STEERING SYSTEM, WHAT MAKES THE 850 SPECIAL WAS THE ACTIVE REAR-AXLE KINEMATICS SYSTEM (AKA) WHICH WAS STANDARD ON ALL EURO CSi's. WHILE NORMAL PASSIVELY STEERING REAR AXLES ALLOW THE WHEELS TO BE SLIGHTLY TURNED BY THE FORCES ACTING ON THEM WHEN CORNERING, THE HYDRAULICS OF THE AHK TURNS IN THE REAR WHEELS BEFORE THOSE FORCES BUILT UP. THE AHK IS THEREFORE A REAL 4-WHEEL STEERING SYSTEM.
